Multi Corporation is a leading owner, manager and (re)developer of high quality shopping centres across Europe and Turkey. As a well-capitalised, growth-oriented, retail platform, Multi is focused on creating, managing and improving sustainable rental income. Multi’s projects are often the catalyst for economic growth and social regeneration of cities and regions.
Multi Ukraine in co-operation with Galereja Centre and Budhouse Group developed a project that has received high levels of interest from retailers recently. The location for Multi’s first project in Ukraine was selected not by coincidence. Lviv is a unique European city that unites rich history of multiculturalism and magnificent architectural landmarks. Being a very popular travel destination, it is also an extremely attractive investment region. Forum Lviv has clearly become the “must have” location for retailers looking for the option to expand their investment ideas into Western Ukraine.
Gawein Minks, Director of Multi Ukraine:
“Throughout the years Multi has actively cooperated with the authority of city and region of Lviv. This cooperation has been very professional, mutual supportive and with continuous common goal; enhance and improve economic activity and life standards in Lviv region.
With over 30 years of international experience one can sincerely state Multi is an all-round. Nevertheless conditions in Ukraine are challenging hence demonstrate the need to rely on the cooperativeness and drive of the City and Region one aims to operate in. We’ve clearly experienced that and hence have been able to complete a nearly €100million project. Besides the City and Region clearly financing from EBRD, local relations and partnership and clearly also Multi’s track record, contributed. We can recommend Lviv as a solid base and or start for anyone aiming to invest in Ukraine. A long breath, patience, relationships, accessibility to (debt) financing as well as the capacity to amend plans are though key ingredients too for anyone aiming to operate in Ukraine.”
