EBRD Managing Director, Sustainable Infrastructure Group visits Lviv for the first time

Lviv welcomed Harry Boyd-Carpenter, Managing Director of the Sustainable Infrastructure Group at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), on his first visit to the city.

First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko, together with the heads of the departments of economic development, finance, urban mobility and street infrastructure, housing, and municipal infrastructure, as well as city council deputies, discussed the progress of EBRD-funded infrastructure projects and opportunities for further cooperation.

As part of the visit, Harry Boyd-Carpenter and Olga Yeromina, Senior Banker of the EBRD Energy Department in Europe, toured the UNBROKEN rehabilitation ecosystem, as well as the biogas plant and the mechanical-biological waste treatment facility under construction.

Currently, Lviv, in partnership with the EBRD, is implementing six projects with a total investment of €112.5 million. Coordination on the city’s side is managed by the Invest in Lviv team, the Department of Financial Policy of the Lviv City Council, Lvivvodokanal and Green City Municipal Enterprises.

The EBRD reaffirmed its commitment to further cooperation with Lviv!
