In September, a series of meetings were held in Lviv with representatives of the Japanese company HAMA, which specializes in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, including amphibious drones.

The company’s representatives took part in the Defense Tech Valley event, where they learned about Ukrainian developments in the field of defense technologies and held several meetings with the IRON Cluster defense technology cluster. During the meetings, the parties discussed opportunities for developing joint innovative projects and the prospects for Ukrainian-Japanese partnership in defense solutions.

HAMA representatives noted the high level of Ukrainian innovations in defense technologies and expressed interest in establishing long-term cooperation with Lviv. The parties agreed to continue dialogue to implement joint projects and strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian and Japanese innovative companies.

This interaction opens new opportunities for the development of the Ukrainian defense industry and for attracting foreign investment to the Lviv region.
