On October 12, 2025, the traditional Lviv “Maisternia Mista” took place near the St. Panteleimon Hospital (UNBROKEN) – an event that united residents of the district, veterans, hospital patients and all caring Lviv residents.
Within a few hours, the space turned into an open environment of communication, creativity and mutual support. Guests had the opportunity to take part in workshops on icon painting, ceramic sculpting and painting, as well as attend a lecture “Communication with Veterans”, which aroused particular interest among the participants.
One of the most emotional moments of the event was the excursion “What it’s like to not see”, during which visitors walked part of the route blindfolded to experience the challenges that people with visual impairments face every day.
Interactive zones were available on the territory – mini-golf, home medical care classes, as well as coffee cup testing in partnership with “Alternative Coffee”.
“We wanted to show that space can be alive, warm and accessible to everyone. Today, veterans, hospital patients, residents of the district were present – people united by the desire to create and support each other,” said the event coordinator Yaryna Kasprivska.
The “Maisternia Mista” near UNBROKEN once again proved: the renewal of the city is not only about infrastructure, but above all about people. Joint creativity, interaction of different community groups and open dialogue form a strong culture of mutual support and inclusion.
The event was organized by the City Institute together with the teams of the UNBROKEN Center, the Network of Education Centers, the Investment and Project Department of the Lviv City Council and Lviv Invest, with financial support from the Polish Development Cooperation Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
