ДетальнішеLviv’s twin city of Wrocław has been providing PLN 1 million in aid for the third year in a row. This year, the funds will be used to purchase equipment for the St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital.
“We are grateful to the city and community of Wroclaw for their continued support,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
According to Andriy Pavliv, Head of the Investment and Projects Department of the Lviv City Council, each year Wroclaw’s assistance is directed towards the development of the UNBROKEN rehabilitation system.
“This year, the funds will be used to purchase equipment for the maternity ward of St. Nicholas Hospital, located on P. Orlyka Street. That is, with these funds we will be able to purchase two types of equipment: for ultrasound and for ophthalmological examinations of newborns,” said Andriy Pavliv.
The recipient of the funds is the Department of Financial Policy, and the administrator is the Health Department, which redirects them to the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv, which is already directly purchasing equipment.
We remind you that at the end of 2023, the city of Wrocław provided charitable assistance in the amount of PLN 1 million to the UNBORKEN ecosystem of humanity to co-finance the purchase of rehabilitation equipment, namely:
The city of Gdańsk also contributed to the purchase of this equipment in the amount of PLN 1 million.
At the end of 2024, the city of Wrocław provided charitable assistance in the amount of PLN 1 million for the purchase of equipment for UNBROKEN Kids in the children’s intensive care unit.
