Lviv Presented at the Global Real Estate Exhibition: The City Team Held Lviv Invest Day in France
11 Mar 2026

During the international real estate exhibition MIPIM in Cannes, Lviv Invest Day took place — an international event dedicated to Lviv’s investment opportunities and the development of urban infrastructure during wartime.

The event brought together international investors, developers, local government representatives, and real estate experts from various countries. During the event, Lviv showcased its investment potential, including social housing projects, the development of medical infrastructure, and the UNBROKEN rehabilitation ecosystem, which has already helped over 26,000 people affected by the war.

As part of Lviv Invest Day, panel discussions were held focusing on the development of commercial, logistics, and industrial real estate, as well as the role of private business in Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Participants emphasized the growing importance of Lviv as a new logistics hub of Ukraine and discussed prospects for foreign investment in manufacturing and industrial infrastructure. According to Andrii Pavliv, Head of the Investment and Projects Office at the Department of Economic Development of Lviv City Council, during the full-scale war the market for industrial and logistics real estate in Lviv grew by 35% — exceeding 140,000 square meters. The city already has three industrial parks and five large logistics complexes in operation.

At the same time, Roman Krushelnytskyi, Head of the Architecture Office at the Department of Architecture and Spatial Development of Lviv City Council, previously noted that currently there are about 23 square meters of housing per resident in Lviv, compared to 40–45 square meters in European cities. This indicates significant potential for the development of the city’s housing infrastructure.

During the second panel discussion, experts addressed the development of mixed-use projects and mechanisms of public-private partnerships for implementing infrastructure projects.

Lviv Invest Day is a series of international events dedicated to the investment potential of Lviv and Ukraine. In addition to Cannes, events are also held in Warsaw, Vilnius, and Tokyo, forming an international platform for partnerships in investment, real estate, and the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The event was organized by the Investment and Projects Office of the Department of Economic Development of Lviv City Council.

The first Lviv Invest Day took place in November 2025 in Warsaw. At that time, Lviv signed three key memorandums:

  • with White Star — on the development of a new industrial area in Lviv;
  • with PwC Ukraine — on the preparation of a feasibility study for the construction of a prosthetics plant in Lviv;
  • with WaterWorx Ukraine, the Association of Water Utilities of Ukraine, and Lvivvodokanal — on the creation of a training center for water utilities in Lviv.

This year, the event was held in cooperation with the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the Cannes City Hall, and the UNBROKEN charitable foundation.

The event was attended by international experts and business representatives, including Rodrick Miller, President and CEO of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council; Andrii Fedoriv, founder of Fedoriv Group; Dmytro Kovalchuk, CEO of Alterra Group; Peter Huntley, CEO of White Star Real Estate; Magdalena Schwarz-Brozyna, partner at Clyde & Co; as well as representatives of Ukrainian and international development companies.

Event partners included Lviv-based development companies such as Riel, Lviv Investment Company, Resident Development, Lev Development, Quoroom, Mii Dim, Globus, Continent, Marvel Development, Credo Development, Avalon, Auroom, and Svoi Development, as well as the bakery chain “Lviv Croissants.”

It is worth noting that during the same meeting in Cannes, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy also signed an agreement on the accession of Latvia’s capital, Riga, to the international UNBROKEN Cities network.
