18 May 2026

Nestlé Business Services Lviv, the company’s global shared services center, is celebrating 15 years of operations in Lviv. To mark the occasion, Giuseppe Carella, CEO of Nestlé South Eastern Europe, visited the city.

From Lviv, Nestlé provides a wide range of business services to operations in more than 70 countries worldwide. The center supports finance and accounting, IT services, supply chain operations, social media monitoring, website development, HR administration, and payroll management.

Nestlé also operates the Svitoch confectionery factory in Lviv, producing a broad range of chocolate and wafer products. Today, the company remains one of the city’s largest employers, with nearly 2,000 people working across its Lviv operations.

The company is also among Lviv’s largest taxpayers. In 2025 alone, Nestlé contributed nearly UAH 166 million to the city budget.

“You made the right decision by staying in Ukraine when the full-scale war began. Today, Nestlé’s service center in Lviv continues to support operations in more than 70 countries around the world. The company is also a major taxpayer, helping us support more than 58,000 residents of Lviv who are currently serving in Ukraine’s Armed Forces,” said Lviv City Mayor Andrii Sadovyy.

Nestlé has also become an important partner of the UNBROKEN ecosystem. With the company’s support, Lviv established Ukraine’s first prosthetics workshop capable of manufacturing as well as fitting prosthetic limbs. The facility has capacity for up to 10 specialists and can produce as many as 100 prostheses each month.

In addition, Nestlé has helped fund the purchase of medical equipment and provides up to UAH 9 million annually to support UNBROKEN initiatives.

“This is my first visit to Lviv, and I am truly impressed by the resilience and determination of the Ukrainian people. I am inspired by what this city is achieving despite the challenges of war. Ukraine has been part of the Nestlé family for 30 years, and Lviv plays an important role in our operations. We are grateful for these 15 years of partnership,” said Giuseppe Carella, CEO of Nestlé South Eastern Europe.

The anniversary celebration also included an employee recognition ceremony and a panel discussion on resilience, transformation, and leadership during wartime, featuring representatives of UNBROKEN, Superhumans Center, and the communications sector.
