Cambi is the leading global provider of thermal hydrolysis solutions for sewage sludge and organic waste management. Since first trialing the thermal hydrolysis process in the early 1990s, we have become a well-known, trusted technology provider for advanced anaerobic digestion and biogas solutions in wastewater treatment. CAMBI is delivering Ukraine’s first thermal hydrolysis process (THP) system as part of a new sludge treatment facility at the Lviv Wastewater Treatment Plant, which serves approximately 700,000 residents.

Egersund Seafood (Lviv)

Egersund Seafood, part of the Norwegian Pelagia Group, is one of Norway’s major fish producers, with a history dating back to 1921. The company first supplied fish to Ukraine in 1996.

The company entered the Lviv market in 2021, opening its first store outside Kyiv. Located on Stryiska Street, the Lviv flagship became the largest Egersund Seafood store in Ukraine, combining retail, a seafood restaurant and a grill concept.

Egersund’s business model is based on direct supply and control of the value chain – from fishing and processing to transportation and retail, offering Ukrainian consumers Norwegian seafood without intermediaries. Today, the Lviv location remains part of the company’s Ukrainian retail network.

DNV is a Norwegian international classification and assurance company with more than 160 years of experience, providing certification, technical advisory, risk management and digital solutions, with a strong focus on the maritime and energy sectors.

DNV entered the Ukrainian market through its local subsidiary, DNV Ukraine, established in 2007. The company initially operated in the maritime sector, reflecting Ukraine’s strategic importance as a major Black Sea shipping and port market. Its Ukrainian office was later relocated from Mykolaiv to Odesa in 2017, strengthening DNV’s presence in Ukraine’s maritime hub.

Today, DNV Ukraine is based in Odesa and provides engineering, technical consulting, testing and related professional services, while being fully owned by DNV in Norway.
