27 Aug 2024

On August 27, representatives of the Korean-Ukrainian Association for New Construction (KUNBA) met with Lviv City Mayor Andriy Sadovyy. During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the educational and medical sectors.

Lee Yang-goo, head of KUNBA and former ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, expressed readiness to support student exchanges and collaboration with the Lviv Polytechnic National University, as well as to explore the possibility of exchanging medical professionals.

KUNBA was established in June 2023 in Seoul as a platform for cooperation in post-war reconstruction and humanitarian support for Ukraine. Additionally, in July 2023, a mirror organization, the Ukrainian-Korean Association for New Construction (UKA), was established in Ukraine to facilitate the search for partners in Korea.
