A meeting took place in Lviv between Lviv City Mayor Andriy Sadovyy and a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The visit was organized within the framework of the city service supporting Japanese business in Lviv – Japan Desk Lviv, which operates under the Investment and Projects Office of the Lviv City Council (Invest in Lviv).

During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of future cooperation between Lviv and Japan, including initiatives in city recovery, the development of medical infrastructure, and support for innovative projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents of the Lviv community.

The JICA delegation also visited the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center and a prosthetics workshop, where they learned about modern approaches to rehabilitation for military personnel and civilians affected by the war. During the visit, the delegation noted the high professional level of the center’s specialists and Lviv’s potential in developing its medical support system.
