Lviv Hosts the 16th Spring Business Forum: Inspiration and opportunities in challenging times
16 May 2025

Today, Lviv opened its doors to the 16th Spring Business Forum, held under the theme “Inspiring by Creating Opportunities.” The event brought together business leaders, government representatives, experts, and international partners to discuss strategies for economic growth during wartime.

This year’s venue is Lem Station — an innovative and creative space born out of the revitalization of a historic tram depot from 1894. It’s symbolic that this location, developed with the support of the Lviv City Council and through an investment competition organized by the Investment and Projects Office of Lviv City Council (Invest in Lviv), is hosting one of the city’s most important business forums.

The forum began with a welcoming speech by Andriy Sadovyi, the Mayor of Lviv, who emphasized: “Even in the face of war, we don’t stop. We keep searching for new opportunities, new approaches, and new partnerships.”

Despite the challenges of war, the investor behind Lem Station is continuing the project’s development. The first phase is already operational, and plans for the full renovation of the complex are underway.

Key facts about the project:

  • $7 million in investments

  • Revitalization of a late 19th-century tram depot

  • Co-working spaces, event spaces, café, and parking

  • Future plans include food courts, galleries, media hubs, and children’s areas

Hosting the forum here highlights that, even in the most difficult times, Lviv remains a place of opportunities — for business, innovation, and collective growth.
