The Center for relocated businesses has opened in Lviv!

The opening of the Center was held with the participation of UNDP Administrator Achim Shteiner, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv Andriy Moskalenko and Deputy General Director of the First Medical Association of Lviv Volodymyr Fedorov.

With the grant support of the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine, a 450 sq.m. production facility was installed on the territory of the First Medical Association of Lviv to house the relocated business. The Center provides space for a relocated medical enterprise, a municipal prosthetics workshop with 4D printing equipment, showroom and a warehouse.

The municipal prosthetics workshop will contain high-tech equipment – a 4D scanner and a 3-axis robot. The equipment will allow scanning of stumps and printing of stump receivers, which reduces the production time of the stump receiver by 3 times. The purchase of equipment worth about 8 million hryvnyas will be carried out within the framework of the Program’s grant assistance.

The Program will also provide assistance in the purchase of consumables for the production of prostheses in the amount of 3.8 million hryvnyas.

The total budget of the project, including the purchase of equipment, exceeds 16 million ukrainian hryvnyas.

We are thankful to our partners for their support and are actively labouring over an upcoming competition for enterprises that intend to relocate to the Center, the announcement of which we are hoping to make in the near future.
