On 24 September, Lviv Japan Business Forum will take place in Lviv under the theme “Lviv Vision. Japan Innovation. Global Partnership.” The Forum is designed to become an annual international platform for strengthening partnerships between Ukrainian and Japanese businesses.

The Forum is organized by the Investment and Projects Office of the Lviv City Council. It represents the next stage in the development of Japan Desk Lviv, an initiative established within the Office to promote Ukrainian-Japanese economic cooperation, attract investment, and facilitate partnerships between Ukrainian and Japanese companies and institutions.

Lviv Japan Business Forum will bring together business leaders, government representatives, international organizations, and financial institutions from Ukraine and Japan.

The programme will feature strategic discussions alongside practical networking opportunities. Participants will explore investment opportunities in Ukraine, hear first-hand experiences of Japanese companies operating during wartime, discuss investor support mechanisms, examine the future of Ukrainian-Japanese economic cooperation, and consider the role of cities in attracting international investment.

A dedicated B2B Matchmaking programme will provide pre-arranged one-on-one meetings between Ukrainian and Japanese companies. Ahead of the Forum, registered participants will gain access to a dedicated online platform where they can browse company profiles, identify potential business partners, and create their own meeting schedules.

The Forum welcomes Japanese companies already operating in Ukraine or considering entering the Ukrainian market, as well as Ukrainian companies seeking partnerships with Japanese businesses. Representatives of government institutions, investment promotion agencies, international financial institutions, and business associations are also invited to participate.
