On September 24, Lviv will host the Lviv Japan Business Forum—an international event held under the motto “Lviv Vision. Japan Innovation. Global Partnership.” The forum is designed to become an annual platform for advancing partnerships between Ukrainian and Japanese businesses.

The main organizer of the Lviv Japan Business Forum is the Investment and Projects Office of the Lviv City Council. The forum marks the next step in the development of Japan Desk Lviv, an initiative operating within the Investment and Projects Department aimed at promoting Ukrainian-Japanese economic cooperation, attracting investment, and fostering partnerships between businesses and institutions from both nations.

The Lviv Japan Business Forum will bring together representatives from business, state institutions, international organizations, and the financial sectors of Ukraine and Japan.

The program features strategic panel discussions and practical formats for cooperation. Participants will explore investment opportunities in Ukraine, discuss the operational experience of Japanese companies during wartime, learn about investor support mechanisms, and examine the prospects of Ukrainian-Japanese economic partnership alongside the pivotal role of cities in attracting international investment.

A key highlight of the event will be the B2B Matchmaking session—a series of pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings between Ukrainian and Japanese companies. Prior to the event, participants will gain access to a dedicated online platform to review company profiles, select potential partners, and build their personalized B2B meeting schedules.

We invite Japanese companies operating in Ukraine or considering entry into the Ukrainian market, Ukrainian businesses seeking collaboration with Japanese partners, as well as representatives of government agencies, investment promotion bodies, international financial institutions, and business associations to apply.
