Lviv hosted the Czech-Ukrainian Business Forum — an important platform for strengthening business ties between Ukraine and the Czech Republic in the context of European integration and post-war recovery. The event brought together dozens of entrepreneurs, representatives of international organizations, and government authorities from both countries.

On behalf of the Lviv City Council, Deputy Head of the Investment and Projects Office Oleh Veklyn addressed the participants with a welcoming speech and presented Lviv’s investment potential and opportunities for cooperation with Czech companies.

The forum participants had the opportunity to establish new partnerships through B2B meetings. The Czech delegation included companies from various sectors such as mechanical engineering, metalworking, woodworking, construction, healthcare, IT, and others.

The Czech Republic is a reliable partner of Lviv and Ukraine, continuously providing military, economic, and humanitarian assistance. Czech businesses are demonstrating a strong willingness to take an active role in Ukraine’s recovery.

Special attention was given to joint projects within the UNBROKEN initiative. In particular, in cooperation with our sister city Brno, a new art therapy center is being developed in Zalizna Voda Park, with business missions and youth exchange programs also planned.

Lviv is also actively cooperating with Czech institutions such as CzechTrade and Nadace Partnerství, which contribute to the development of economic and environmental partnerships.

As part of the forum, Czech entrepreneurs visited Sparrow Park Lviv industrial park, where they explored the infrastructure, conditions for production placement, and investment opportunities.
