Fourteen members of the UK Parliament and the House of Lords have arrived in Lviv. During their visit, the delegation met with Mayor Andriy Sadovyi to discuss cooperation with the United Kingdom and the city’s key development priorities.

One of the main topics was the development of the UNBROKEN ecosystem. The Mayor of Lviv presented the international network UNBROKEN Cities – an alliance of cities supporting and advancing rehabilitation in Ukraine – along with new projects in collaboration with international partners.

Lviv is a city that has always been open to the world. Before Russia’s full-scale invasion, it welcomed 2.5 million tourists annually. Now, Lviv has become a humanitarian hub, providing aid to wounded soldiers and civilians.

British politicians reaffirmed that the United Kingdom will continue and strengthen its military support for Ukraine.

This week, leading surgeon of the UNBROKEN Center, Hnat Herich, spoke with King Charles III of the United Kingdom. During a video meeting organized by Buckingham Palace in partnership with Imperial College Healthcare, Dr. Herich presented the Center, discussed the challenges of Ukrainian medicine, and explored new joint initiatives between Ukraine and the UK.

We sincerely thank our British partners for their support and attention to rehabilitation and assistance for Ukrainians!
