International Investment Forum “Lviv Invest Day” Held in Warsaw
12 Nov 2025

On November 12, 2025, Lviv presented its investment potential at the international conference Lviv Invest Day in Warsaw.
The event took place as part of the Rebuild Ukraine Conference and was organized by the Lviv City Council and White Star, with the support of KredoBank, Unibep Group, and the Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce .

The forum was held at Elektrownia Powiśle and gathered over 90 participants — representatives of international businesses, investment companies, donor organizations, and financial institutions.

The forum was opened by Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv; Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine; Peter Huntley, CEO of White Star; and Jarosław Beldowski, First Vice President of the Management Board of KredoBank.

During the forum, three key memoranda were signed:

  • with White Star — on the development of a new industrial area in Lviv;

  • with PwC Ukraine — on the preparation of a feasibility study for the construction of a prosthetics plant in Lviv;

  • with WaterWorx Ukraine, the Ukrainian Water Utilities Association, and Lvivvodokanal — on establishing a training center for Ukrainian water utilities in Lviv.

“The memorandum on creating a training center for Ukrainian water utilities in Lviv concerns the support of critical infrastructure — in cooperation with Lvivteploenergo and Lvivvodokanal. The amount of support totals several million euros, directed toward specific needs and the work of international companies.

I want to thank everyone — dozens of companies, banks, IFIs, White Star, KredoBank, VEI, WaterWorx, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, and Ukraine Invest — for this joint event. Special thanks to Andriy Pavliv and the Invest in Lviv team for organizing it,”
— said Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv.

Two panel discussions were held during the forum:

  • “Private Investments During Wartime” — with Peter Huntley (White Star), Yuriy Tromsa (Peikko Ukraine), Maryna Khlystun (Ukraine Invest), and Maksym Lozovskyi (Alterra Group);

  • “Cooperation with International Investors and National Support Programs” — with Serhiy Kiral (Deputy Mayor of Lviv for International Cooperation), Kristina Mikulova (EIB), Tomohiro Yoden (JETRO Warsaw), Darius Skusevicius (Government of Lithuania), and Anthony van Dongen (Daiwa House Europe).

“For us, it’s important not only to talk about recovery but also to show concrete steps. Lviv is already building partnerships that will bring investments, new jobs, and modern infrastructure. Lviv Invest Day in Warsaw demonstrated that our city remains a reliable and promising partner for international business and financial institutions, open to cooperation and experience exchange with other cities.
This forum marked the beginning of a series of annual events, and the next one is planned for March 2026 in Cannes, ahead of the MIPIM international real estate exhibition. We thank our co-organizers and partners — White Star, KredoBank, Unibep Group, and the Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry,”
— noted Andriy Pavliv, Head of the Investment and Projects Office of the Lviv City Council.

Lviv Invest Day is a series of annual English-language forums that bring together businesses, investors, and international financial institutions to promote the development of Ukrainian cities. The goal: to familiarize potential and current investors with available investment mechanisms in Ukraine; to present investment opportunities in Lviv; and to showcase key resilience projects of the city during wartime.
