International tender announced for the reconstruction of Mazepy and Hrinchenka Streets in Lviv

The next stage of the project is underway: an international tender has been announced for the reconstruction of Mazepy and Hrinchenka Streets in Lviv!

Lvivavtodor has launched a tender for the large-scale reconstruction of these two streets, with a total project cost of €13.5 million.

The project is financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB)—the key financial institution of the European Union, which is co-financing the works with €9.8 million, while the remaining funds will be provided by the city. This initiative is part of the “Improving Road Safety in Lviv – Package 1” subproject, with coordination from the Investment and Projects Office (Invest in Lviv) of the Lviv City Council.

What does the reconstruction include?

  • Upgrading 1.93 km of Mazepy Street and 0.71 km of Hrinchenka Street
  • Expanding roads from 2 to 4 lanes
  • Creating dedicated bike lanes for safer cycling
  • Introducing dedicated lanes for public transport
  • Modern, separate passenger stops

This project will also improve mobility to the UNBROKEN Ukraine rehabilitation center, ensuring convenient and safe access for patients, medical staff, and visitors.

Tender submission deadline: March 18, 2025
Project duration: 18 months
