On January 28-29, representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Yoden Tomohiro, Deputy Director General of the Warsaw JETRO Office, and Taki Osamu, Director General of the JETRO Overseas Business Development Department, visited Lviv. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the economic and investment potential of the city, discuss cooperation opportunities and prospects for Japanese business in Lviv.

As part of the visit, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi met with JETRO representatives, discussing strategic investment projects and the UNBROKEN rehabilitation ecosystem.

The delegation got acquainted with the investment projects and opportunities of the city, visited the industrial parks Formation.Lviv, Sparrow Park Lviv, M10 Industrial Park and the PORT logistics center. Meetings were also held with KPMG, the European Business Association, and the chief architect Anton Kolomeytsev and the deputy mayor for international cooperation Serhiy Kiral presented the urban development and the Eurorail project.

JETRO representatives visited the technological clusters of Lviv: Lviv IT Cluster, IRON Lviv Tech Cluster, Roboneers, Ironbelly Tech. The visit confirmed the interest in cooperation, and in the future the next business visit of Japanese companies to Lviv is planned.

The JETRO visit confirmed that Lviv is open to international investments and ready to cooperate with Japanese business. The next business visit of Japanese companies to Lviv is planned together with JETRO.
