ДетальнішеIrish company Kingspan, a world leader in energy-efficient building materials, continues to support the Ukrainian economy by investing heavily in the development of production in the Lviv region.
On December 11, the Investment and Projects Office team (Invest in Lviv) met with the Kingspan team to discuss the implementation of joint investment projects. The meeting was attended by Mike Stenson, Executive Director of Kingspan’s investment project in Ukraine, Alexsandr Shekhter, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Kingspan, and Orysia Yaremko, Director of Kingspan Property in Lviv.
Kingspan, which was one of the first companies to leave the Russian market in support of Ukraine, plans to build a modern complex for the production of innovative building materials near Lviv’s ring road. This complex will include six production areas where innovative insulation materials and heating solutions will be manufactured, among other things.
Key project indicators:
Investment amount: EUR 280 million.
Number of new jobs: 750.
Completion of the first stage: 2026.
Kingspan has been operating in Ukraine since 2005 and in Lviv region since 2010. In 2023, the company opened an office in Lviv.
An important aspect of the project is Kingspan’s cooperation with Lviv universities and vocational schools. This cooperation is aimed at developing vocational education and training qualified personnel.
The Invest in Lviv team expressed gratitude to Kingspan for their trust and significant contribution to the development of Ukraine’s economy. This project is an important signal to other foreign investors, demonstrating the resilience and potential of the Ukrainian economy even in times of war.
