ДетальнішеThe first phase of the revitalization of the historic tram depot at the intersection of Sakharova, Vitovskyi, and Heroiv Maidanu streets has been completed, transforming it into the Lem Station innovation and creative hub. This project creates a platform for artists, entrepreneurs, and scientists eager to bring innovative ideas to life and foster the city’s creative economy.
What Has Been Done So Far?
As part of the first phase of the project, the former polyclinic and compressor station have been restored, and a spacious public square has been arranged. Lem Station now features:
What’s Next?
The next phase includes the renovation of two hangars, which will house a food court, galleries, workshops, and additional event spaces. The project is being implemented within the framework of Lviv City Council’s 2017 investment competition. The Investment and Projects Department is coordinating the initiative, while Lem Station LLC is the investor. The architectural concept was developed by AVR Development, led by Vitalii Kvych, ensuring the preservation of the building’s historic appearance.
Cultural Events at Lem Station
The venue is already hosting cultural events. Until February 28, visitors can explore the “Parallel Universe” exhibition by Ihor Yaskievych, and on February 27, a musical and poetry evening featuring the band Yagody will take place. Lem Station is gradually becoming a key location on Lviv’s cultural map, bringing together creative initiatives and contemporary urban trends.
