On August 25, 2023, a charity forum “Independents” was held in Lviv for veterans, representatives of business and government.
The Forum’s speakers included more than 20 leaders from the corporate, government, and municipal sectors.
The main topic of the Forum was the implementation of best practices and programs for reintegrating military personnel into civilian life, taking into account the experience and effective models of the United States and Israel. The role of business and government in these processes was also discussed.
During the Forum, Andrii Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv, spoke about the successful experience of the team of the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN Ukraine in rehabilitation, adaptation and integration of military personnel who, after treatment, become mentors for other military personnel.
