Today, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy took part in the broadcast of the results of the Transparent Cities 2023 study by Transparency International Ukraine, where Lviv was ranked in the highest category of the study – Transparent Cities. During the broadcast, Andriy Sadovyy explained how Lviv has managed to maintain its status as a transparent city for several years. He also invited other municipalities to participate in the Residence of Cities, which takes place in Lviv, to share their experience.

It is worth noting that 5 cities became transparent in 2023 – Lviv, Mukachevo, Ternopil, Drohobych, and Dnipro. The status of “partially transparent” was granted to 23 cities, and the remaining 52 were “non-transparent”. Despite the war, the cities managed to make some progress. The overall level of transparency in 2023 is 42.3% (50 indicators for 80 local authorities), which is higher than the level of 37.5% in 2022 (40 indicators for 70 cities).
