On November 6, 2023, in Seoul, South Korea, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy signed a memorandum with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).

The signing took place within the framework of the “Reconstruction Cooperation Knowledge Exchange Program”, which is attended by a delegation from the Lviv City Council, the Kyiv City Council, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, the Bucha Territorial Community, and the Platform for Recovery “Nazovni.Tech”

The Memorandum envisages cooperation in the following areas:
– projects for the restoration and development of urban infrastructure in Lviv;
– urban planning and development projects (including Smart Cities);
– development of urban industrial areas and construction of industrial parks;
– training and knowledge exchange programs for Lviv City Council employees.

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) is the largest Korean state-owned corporation, ranked 5th in terms of assets alongside Samsung and Hyundai. The main areas of LH Corporation’s business are housing construction in Korea, the development of free economic zones, and the construction of industrial parks. The industrial parks built by LH are home to 18,000 companies and have created about 400,000 new jobs.
