On April 12, the Invest in Lviv team, together with the Czech Environmental Foundation Nadace Partnerství, held a seminar on energy efficiency and green recovery for Ukrainian and Czech professionals in Lviv. The seminar was attended by representatives of the Nadace Partnerstvi Foundation and representatives from different cities of Ukraine. The seminar was welcomed by the First Deputy Mayor of Lviv Andriy Moskalenko.

During the seminar, Lviv’s experience in implementing energy efficiency projects was presented. The EcoHub project was presented, and the seminar participants visited the solid fuel waste processing plant. The experience of the Czech Republic’s transition to European structures, successful examples and opportunities for Ukraine’s participation in new and existing programs together with the CzechTrade were also presented.

In addition, representatives of the Lviv City Council and the Czech Environmental Foundation Nadace Partnerstvi planted a magnolia in a park in Lviv as a symbol of Ukrainian-Czech cooperation in the field of green recovery.

The Ukraine Sustainable Recovery Partnership Program is an internship for Ukrainian leaders in the Czech Republic who are interested in sustainable development and recovery. In particular, it is an introduction to special projects, technologies, institutions, key figures, and legal conditions for reliable solutions for Ukraine’s sustainable development in various fields.
