The investment and project office team, together with colleagues from the external relations and promotion department, the legal department and the economic development department, supervised this agreement.

The funds will be used to complete two floors of the rehabilitation centre Unbroken Ukraine and accommodate a ward with about 70 beds, recreation areas and a terrace. There will also be rooms for medical staff, utilities, and technical premises. Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy, on behalf of the city community, thanked Gdańsk for its continued support of the Unbroken Ukraine ecosystem.

Notably, many European cities, charitable organizations and philanthropists have taken part in the development of the Unbroken Ukraine ecosystem. These include, in particular, the cities of Vilnius, Freiburg, Warsaw, Wrocław and Gdańsk, among others. In addition, the famous Japanese architect Shigeru Ban is working on the design of a new surgical complex within the Unbroken Ukraine humanity ecosystem.

The National Rehabilitation Center Unbroken Ukraine is an entire ecosystem that provides qualified medical care in the fields of surgery, orthopedics and robotic prosthetics, as well as physical, psychological and psychosocial rehabilitation for adults and children who have suffered the consequences of war. Since the start of the full-scale war, more than 15,000 wounded soldiers and civilians have already received help here.
