Lviv City Council and Invest in Lviv, in cooperation with the municipality of Kobe (Japan), in partnership with the Business Community Club Ukraine, and with the financial support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine (USAID CEP), organized a trade mission for Lviv entrepreneurs to the International Industrial Fair in Kobe, Japan

At the fair, which lasted for two days on September 7-8, 2023, there was a separate Ukrainian pavilion in which eight Lviv companies were represented: PRANA PLATINUM LLC, Dodo Socks, Citius S, VEEM-Metalavtoprom company, SID City Scientific Park, Askep.net, Kormotech LLC, and Business Community Club Ukraine.

This event is one of the key events in the field of industrial innovation, not only in Japan, but also in the whole of Asia. During the fair, Andriy Pavliv, Head of Investment and Project Office, and company representatives held a number of B2B meetings and presented their activities and key projects to attract partners.

Goals of this trade mission:

– Attracting foreign investment in our companies and projects.

– Opening new markets for Ukrainian producers.

– Support and development of innovations.

With the financial support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine (USAID CEP), the delegation of the Lviv City Council, headed by the Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyy, also took part in the business mission.

During the visit, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy and Kobe Mayor Kizo Hisamoto signed an agreement on cooperation and interaction between the cities. A number of meetings were also held with the biotechnology cluster and the Kobe Rehabilitation Center to attract partners and technologies for the development of the national rehabilitation center UNBROKEN Ukraine.
