New infrastructure projects in partnership with the EBRD are planning in Lviv

The meeting between Lviv City Mayor Andriy Sadovyy and the management of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) – Jürgen Rigterink, EBRD First Vice-President and Matteo Patrone, EBRD Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus was held in Lviv, during which active projects and new cooperation directions were discussed.

It should be noted that the city of Lviv is the biggest partner of the EBRD among the cities of Ukraine. Despite the state of war, the city continues to implement joint projects. As of today, 6 projects are being implemented in partnership with the EBRD, in which the bank has invested 112.5 million euros. The Invest in Lviv office coordinates these projects on behalf of the Lviv City Council.

Within the framework of the meeting, Lviv City Mayor presented the project of creation of the rehabilitation center UNBROKEN Ukraine – an ecosystem of support and care for people affected by the war. In order to improve the mobility and accessibility of the Unbroken center and this neighborhood, the city is working on a project to extend the city tram route to Mykolaichuka Street.

While in Lviv, the EBRD delegation visited local companies that are partners of the bank, namely – M10 Lviv Industrial Park , Bank of Lviv, yeast producer Enzym, a pet food production company Kormotech LLC, operator of gas station “Galnaftogaz”, manufacturer of ventilation systems Prana recuperators, IT company SoftServe.
