ДетальнішеOn May 22, Lviv hosted the Spring Business Forum 2026, one of Ukraine’s leading business events. For the 17th consecutive year, the forum has brought together government officials, business leaders, financial institutions, and international partners to discuss Ukraine’s economic development amid wartime challenges and global uncertainty.
This year’s forum is held under the theme “Stay Resilient, Keep Growing.” Due to security considerations, the event is taking place in a hybrid format, with some participants joining online while speakers, partners, and attendees gather in person at Lem Station. More than 500 participants have registered for the forum.
As in previous years, the Lviv City Council is serving as a co-organizer of the event.
“Today, it is especially important to support businesses that continue operating in Ukraine, creating jobs and investing in development. Lviv remains a city of opportunity, and we see this through new projects, international partnerships, and continued investor interest,” said Lviv City Mayor Andrii Sadovyy.
Throughout the day, participants are discussing the key challenges facing Ukraine’s economy and business community during the war. Topics include macroeconomic and microeconomic trends, Ukraine’s alignment with European Union standards, workforce development amid migration challenges, developments in the financial and banking sectors, and institutional support provided by Ukraine’s international partners.
Dedicated sessions are also focusing on successful Ukrainian companies that continue to grow and innovate despite the full-scale war.
The forum brings together representatives of leading Ukrainian businesses, international financial institutions, and the expert community. Speakers include Vasyl Danyliak, CEO of OKKO; Serhii Shakalov, co-owner of KNESS; as well as representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), KredoBank, Vox Ukraine, Lviv IT Cluster, the Come Back Alive Foundation, and other organizations.
The forum will also feature the “Birds of Victory” charity auction, with proceeds directed toward supporting Ukraine’s defenders.
“When the right people come together in the right place, ideas become opportunities. The strong turnout at this event shows that people want to understand what lies ahead for Ukraine, build connections with those around them, and work together to help the country endure and succeed. The future will not be easy, but together we are capable of overcoming these challenges,” said forum organizer Volodymyr Hlashchenkov.
The Spring Business Forum has been held in Lviv since 2009. Over the years, it has become an important platform for professional dialogue on economic trends, business challenges, and opportunities for Ukraine’s development, even during periods of profound crisis.
