South Korean company expands its activities in Ukraine and has ambitious plans for Lviv

On January 15, Lviv City Mayor Andriy Sadovyy met with Ilryoung Jeong, Head of the Representative Office of HD Hyundai XiteSolution in Ukraine, to discuss strategic areas of cooperation with the Lviv community.

One of the main topics was the supply of special equipment for the modernization of urban infrastructure. The parties also discussed the possibility of creating a

  • customs and logistics hub;
  • a modern HD Hyundai training center to teach the management and maintenance of machinery.

These initiatives are to be implemented within the framework of the Republic of Korea’s Official Assistance Program to Ukraine.

Andriy Sadovyy expressed his admiration for the economic success of the Republic of Korea and assured of Lviv’s readiness to support the company’s initiatives. He also offered cooperation in the following areas:

  • Opening a representative office of HD Hyundai XiteSolution in Lviv;
  • Participation in the development of industrial parks, in particular, localization of production in one of them
  • Join the ecosystem of the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN Ukraine.

During the meeting, the company representatives invited Andriy Sadovyy to the official opening of the HD Hyundai XiteSolution representative office in Ukraine, which will take place on January 28, 2025, in Kyiv.
