The eighth Lviv Eco Forum took place in Lviv

For two days, on September 14-15, Lviv Eco Forum’23 was held in Lviv.

The main topic of Lviv Eco Forum’23 was “Waste hierarchy: requirements of Ukrainian and European legislation”. In particular, the following issues were discussed:

– implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Waste Management”

– application of the European approach to waste management;

– consideration of EU directives regulating the industry;

– attracting investment in green technology projects.

During the forum, Andriy Pavliv, head of the investment and projects office, presented the experience of the Invest in Lviv team in attracting credit and grant funds for the implementation and development of municipal projects.

The Lviv Eco Forum is an annual event that serves as a platform for discussing the problems of the water and sewerage industry, ecology, and natural resource conservation between representatives of water utilities from all over Ukraine, business representatives, and foreign experts and foundations. This year’s forum was attended by partners from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Denmark. The forum is organized by Lviv City Council and the Lviv municipal enterprise Green City.
