The Irish company Kingspan Global intends to invest around 200 million euros in the creation of a construction technology hub in Lviv. This construction technology hub will serve as a major export centre for the group products back in to the EU countries as well as supporting reconstruction in Ukraine.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi met with Gene Murtagh, CEO of the Irish company Kingspan Group. Kingspan Group plans to invest €200 million in a construction technology hub that will produce low carbon cutting-edge insulation and building envelope products together with district heating solutions and create between 600 and 1,000 jobs. The construction of the hub is planned over the next five years. Therefore, Andriy Sadovyi and the head of the investment department of the Lviv City Council, Andriy Pavliv, presented the investment potential of the Lviv community and the possibilities of potential cooperation for the Kingspan Group. The investment project is supported by the government office for attraction and support of investments, UkraineInvest – Ukraine Investment Promotion Office.

It should be noted that a subsidiary company “Kingspan-Ukraine” LLC has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2006 and is registered in the city of Lviv.
Kingspan is a publicly quoted company that was founded in Ireland and is a world leader in energy-efficient construction solutions, thermal insulation technologies and building envelope material supply. The companies of the group work in 70 countries, represented by more than 200 factories, where more than 19 thousand people are employed. Kingspan opened 5 new plants/production lines in 2021 and plans to add 25 more within 4 years.
