During the meeting with representatives of the Swarco company, they discussed opportunities for cooperation in the direction of developing a network of charging stations for electric vehicles, installing sensors for monitoring the condition of bridges, uninterrupted power supply systems for traffic lights and electronic signboards for public transport.

We plan together:
– Development of the concept of “smart solutions” in transport management for the Lviv community together with Swarco company specialists;
– Implementation of a pilot project on the installation of monitoring systems for the condition of one of the bridges in the community;
– Organization of a visit of representatives of the Lviv City Council to a European city where Swarco technologies are fully applied, to get acquainted with the operation of the traffic control system.

As part of the visit, company representatives also visited the Traffic Management Center on Konovaltsia Street, which was built in 2012 by the Lviv City Council in cooperation with the Swarco company, as part of a joint reconstruction and development project with the European Bank. In addition to the Center, within the scope of the project, adaptive traffic lights were installed at 28 intersections along tram routes #2 and #6.
