Lviv, Wroclaw and Breda signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation

On January 26, the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyy, signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the Mayor of Breda, Paul Depla, and the Vice-President of the City of Wroclaw, Jakub Mazur.

The main goals of this tripartite cooperation will focus on supporting Lviv in emergency situations, providing shelter to internally displaced persons, developing the UNBROKEN Ukraine ecosystem of humanity and indomitability, promoting programs for the return of Ukrainians from abroad, as well as holding a joint technology forum.

As part of the long-term partnership, the cities plan to launch joint European Union projects on local development and recovery plans, exchange of students and teachers, cooperation in the fields of culture, economy and trade, sustainable development and environmental protection.

Note that Wroclaw (Poland) and Breda (Netherlands) have been sister cities since 1991. Sister relations between Lviv and Wroclaw were established in 2002. Therefore, the three cities decided to strengthen friendly relations and signed a memorandum approving further cooperation.
